Terms & Conditions of Sale

Overview

These terms apply to purchases made through the online shop operated by Taylor Instrument Services Limited. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions in full. If you have any questions, please contact us before ordering.

1. Refunds and Returns

Our return policy lasts 30 days from the date of delivery. If 30 days have passed, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, items must be:

  • Unused and in the same condition as delivered
  • Returned in original packaging with all accessories included
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase (e.g. order confirmation or invoice)

Non-returnable items include:

  • Calibration certificates or services
  • Software licences or digital downloads
  • Custom orders or special configurations
  • Items that have been installed, used, or marked

Please do not return items directly to the manufacturer unless instructed.

2. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you by email whether your refund is approved. If approved, a refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Late or missing refunds:

  • Check your bank account again
  • Contact your card provider — it may take time before the refund appears
  • Contact your bank — processing time may vary

3. Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective, damaged, or incorrect. If you need to request an exchange, contact us first via email at [email protected] and return the item to:

4. Delivery

Delivery times are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays outside our control, including courier delays or supply issues.

All goods remain the property of Taylor Instrument Services Limited until paid for in full.

5. Shipping Returns

You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

We recommend using a trackable shipping method or purchasing shipping insurance for higher-value items. We cannot guarantee receipt of items sent without tracking.

6. Warranty

Many of the products we sell are covered by manufacturer warranties. Where applicable, warranty terms will be stated in the product description or documentation. If you require warranty support, contact us first and we will advise on next steps.

7. Calibration Services

Please note: calibration services, once carried out, are non-refundable unless there is a clear fault or failure in the service delivered. If you believe there is an issue with your calibration, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your certificate.
